The Healing Space
The Healing Space is devoted to demystifying the frequently confusing world of complimentary and alternative care therapy.
There are many different modalities and practitioners out there. The goal of The Healing Space is to give viewers the tools and information needed to explore other options and make informed choices.

Our host, Barbara Cappadona, acts as the lay person’s eyes and ears, traveling out into local communities interviewing practitioners. If appropriate, she also offers herself as a guinea pig for practitioners to demonstrate their work.

Soup to Nuts

Soup to Nuts is the best Italian family cooking this side of Italy.  Three generations of the Iarussi family from Ashland cook up their favorite family dishes.  Grandfather, Ozzie, cooks along with his son, Brian and daughter, Susan as well as granddaughter, Seana .  Sometimes there are surprise guests who join in the fun.  Tune into Soup to Nuts and learn some delicious meals that you can cook for your family.  You may even get to hear one of Ozzie's famous stories.


Night at the Roundtable

Night at the Roundtable is a fast paced show which discusses current issues of the day.  Hosted by Howard Caplan along with Tricia Davidson, Peter Chisholm and Craig Mathias,  the program moves quickly as these four individuals express their opinions with no holes barred.  You never know just what might be said.  Tune in to Night at the Roundtable for an exciting 30 minutes of television.


Calling All Kids

Calling All Kids is a story time program for the pre school and grade school set.  Host Anne Stacy reads stories to her young guests who love to discuss with her what is going on in the books. Calling All Kids has theme episodes to coincide with various holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving,  Halloween and the first day of school. Calling All Kids has been broadcasting for over 10 years and has won several awards for outstanding children's programming.


Eat Smarter, Live Better

Eat Smarter, Live Better is a show about food, nutrition, health, and well being.  Your hosts, Dianne Scheinberg and Valerie Machinist are both registered dietitians with extensive counseling experience, as well as experience with cooking healthfully and helping others make changes to live healthier and better lives.

Public Health is Everybody's Business

This local cable access show is taped on a monthly / bimonthly basis with Mark Oram, Health Agent / Director for the Ashland Board of Health, acting as the anchor. The show is set up to provide up to date information on public health news. Most shows have an invited guest or guests who offer insight and their interactions with the Board of Health. Prior guests have included the Animal Control Officer, the Medical Reserve Corps Chairman,  the Water and Sewer Superintendant and the High School Environmental teacher and her students. The show is completed in short segments of 30 minutes or less. The show has been taped in studio and on location. Many thanks to the staff at our local cable station in offering this format for public health news.
