WACA-TV Video Camp 2008
WACA TV, Ashland Cable Access would like to invite your child to participate in our summer Video Camp workshops which will take place at WACA TV studio located in the rear of the Ashland Middle School. There will be four one-week sessions. The dates are as follows:
August 4 thru 8
August 11 thru 15
Video Camp sessions are from 9AM to 12PM, Monday through Friday. Campers should be between the ages of 9 to 13 years old. The maximum size of each session will be 10 campers.
During Video Camp, each participant will learn how to operate studio cameras, audio mixer as well many other functions involved in producing a television program. Campers will decide which type of program they will be producing during their video camp session. They will choose from producing a commercial, a magic show, a rock show, a news program, a cooking show (real stove will not be used), a pirate skit, a talk style program, or PSA's (Public Service Announcements). A complimentary DVD copy of Video Camp activities will be provided as souvenir of your child's experience at WACA TV. Please allow a few weeks for post production. You will be notified when they are ready and can be picked up at the WACA TV studio.
