Ashland Cultural Council
is holding a 
Creative Program for 
Aspiring Teen Writers
A four-session after school program which  encourages self-expression and creativity through writing will begin on May 15
Sessions will be held from 3:30 to 5:00 PM on Thursdays, May 15, 22, 29 and June 5 at the Ashland Public Library, 
66 Front Street
The program will be limited to 10 participants
Preregistration is required by May 13

The metal work of Ashland resident Neil Mansfield is in the fireplace lounge area and the main circulation area

Holliston resident and artist Lavonne Suwalski has always had an interest in color, light, nature, and a love of animals
It is these interests, and the history of the New England area and the beauty of the New England Woodland that inspires Lavonne's watercolor  paintings on view through the middle of June
Ms. Suwalski has displayed her work extensively and this exhibit showcases her wonderful creative and sensitive response to the region we live in.

Ashland resident Alice Clattenburg, owner and creative spirit of Bluhead Designs, has filled the display case with a collection of her lovely and colorfully decorated (hand painted) wood, metal and slate objects

Property Tax Work off applications available at the Senior Center for 2013
This program allows participants to work off up to $750 in  property taxes a year of a rater of $8.00/hr.
Gross income may not exceed $40,000for an individual, $55,000 for married filing jointly
New program begins January 2013
