Art in the Library Upstairs Fireplace Lounge Area The metal work of Ashland resident Neil Mansfield is in the fireplace lounge area and the main circulation area Also on extended loan: the welded painted metal sculptures of Joe Carpineto are exhibited on both floors Downstairs Picture Gallery "Time For Painting" by Lavonne Suwalski Now through Thursday, June 13 Holliston resident and artist Lavonne Suwalski has always had an interest in color, light, nature, and a love of animals It is these interests, and the history of the New England area and the beauty of the New England Woodland that inspires Lavonne's watercolor paintings on view through the middle of June Ms. Suwalski has displayed her work extensively and this exhibit showcases her wonderful creative and sensitive response to the region we live in.
